 Day 1 – Arrival in Windhoek & Kalahari Desert. 


Arrival in Namibia, pick up from the airport and transfer south to the Kalahari Desert.


Accommodation: 1 night at Kalahari Anib Lodge.

Traveling distance: 300km on tar and gravel road.

Duration: around 4 hours with the stop-overs.

Meals: lunch & dinner.


Day 2 - Fish River Canyon.


Visit at the Fish River Canyon, second largest in the World, after Colorado in United States.


Main viewing points provide spectacular place for the exotic landscape photography! Early morning or at the sunset, canyon and the desert comes to life with hues and shades of light – providing fascinating artistic vistas.


Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Accommodation for 1 night near Fish River Canyon at Canyon Roadhouse.

Travelling distance: around 300km (tarred and gravel roads).

Duration: around 4 hours with the stop-over.


Day 3 - Luderitz, Atlantic Ocean.


On trail of the desert horses (Feral Horses of Namibia), which have incredibly adapted to the harsh, dry and often unmerciful desert conditions.


Admiring these incredible creatures, we are charmed by the ever changing landscape, unending horizon and beauty of the Namib.

Short visit to the historical granite cross, known as the Diaz Cross, set in the sands of the Namib by Portuguese sailor Diaz, when he first landed at the Namibian coast centuries ago.

Accommodation for 1 night in Luderitz at Zur Waterkant

Travelling distance: 300km (tarred and gravel roads).

Day 4 - Luderitz, to Sossusvlei & Namib Desert.


Today visit to the famous „Ghost Town” of Kolmanskop, deserted diamond town, around 10 km from Luderitz.

Moving on to the Sossusvlei , the highest and the oldest dunes in the World! On the way admiring picturesque vistas and incredible desert landscape.

Accommodation for 2 nights in the Namib Desert Agama Camp.

Travelling distance around 450km (tarred and gravel roads).

Duration: around 7 hours with the stop-over.


Day 5 – Sossusvlei, Dune 45, Dead Vlei and Sesriem Canyon.


Early morning before sunrise, drive towards Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei - a place of the highest dunes in the World, set in the midst of the World’s oldest desert. Unique chance for spectacular landscape photography! Climbing scenic Dune 45, while enjoying incredible desert vistas and ever changing scenery of the Namib. Off-road trail takes us to Dead Vlei where ancient, dried up acacias stand amidst the orange dunes creating surreal landscape. Optional hiking the ‚Big Daddy’ dune and afterwards visit to Sossusvlei with optional hiking the ‚Big Mama’ dune, hike through spectacular rock formations of the Sesriem Canyon.

Day 6 & 7 - From desert to the coast.


Today traveling through the Namib-Naukluft Park, admiring dried up Kuiseb riverbed and Kuised Canyon. On route, crossing of the Tropic of Capricorn. In the afternoon, arrival at the coastal town-oasis Swakopmund.

Magnificent landscape of the Namib reaches as far as eye can see. Wildlife, grazing antelopes: kudu, oryx and springbuck, mountain zebras, giraffes and World’s biggest ‚birds that don’t fly’ ostriches.

Accommodation: 2 nights in Swakopmund at Stay as Swakop.

Traveling distance: 350 km (gravel road).

Duration: 5 hours with stop-overs and lunch break.


Day 7th optional activities:

·         Visit to the ‚lunar landscape’ and Welwitchia mirabilis trails - botanic attraction, known as the ‚living fossil’; considered to be one of the oldest and most original plants on Earth, price euro 10pp

·         Quadbike ride into the dunes and rolling hills of the Namib, price Euro 50pp.

·         City tour of Swakopmund and visit to the Crystal Gallery, price Euro 5 pp.

·         Visit to National Marine Aquarium, price 5pp.

·         Snake Park. Entrance euro 5 pp.

·         Street-craft-market, free of charge.

Day 8 – Cape Cross and Seal Colony.


Travelling on the coastal salt-road leading us 150 km north to the Cape Cross and the Cape Fur Seal colony. After observing huge family of these aquatic mammals, we are turning east into desert region of Damaraland, traveling towards mountainous Brandberg Massif, one of the most magnificent and majestic places of Namibia. On the way, passing by Damara villages in the communal area, en route chance to spot ostriches, jackals, hyenas and springboks.

Accommodation: 2 nights in Damara Land at Twyfelfontein lodge.

Traveling distance: 450 km (gravel road, including 160 km salt road).

Duration: around 8 hrs.


Day 9 – Twyfelfontein engravings.


Discovering beauty of Twyfelfontein rock engravings, UNESCO World Heritage site – one of the largest concentration of petroglyphs in Africa. We will admire most interesting petroglyphs, out of over 2000 works, created centuries ago in the rusty-orange rocks by San people, Bushmen inhabitants of these regions. The site forms a coherent, extensive and high-quality record of ritual practices relating to hunter-gatherer communities in this part of southern Africa and eloquently illustrates the links between the ritual and economic practices of hunter-gatherers.

Day 10 – Opuwo and Himba People.


Today driving up north to Opuwo to meet Himba people.

In the afternoon visit to the Himba Village, wonderful ethnic experience.


Traveling distance: 400km on gravel and tarred roads.

Accommodation: for 1 night in Opuwo Country Hotel.

Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.


Day 11 – Epupa Falls.


Today traveling further north into Kaokoland, on the way passing villages of Himba People and old Baobab trees among the Mopani Forest.

Arrival at Epupa around lunch time.


In the afternoon sundowner over the Epupa Falls.


Traveling distance: 180km on gravel roads.

Accommodation: for 1 night in Epupa Falls Epupa Camp.

Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.


Day 12, 13 & 14 – Etosha National Park Guided tour.


Wildlife Sanctuary! We are on the way to Etosha National Park – wildlife sanctuary and treasure of Namibia, considered to be one of the most loved and most visited game parks of Africa! We are welcomed by wild animals and white sand of the plains. During afternoon game ride, admiring variety of magnificent animals, among them big mammals: antelopes, giraffes, zebras as well as huge elephants (largest in Africa), rhino, lions, leopards, cheetah and hyenas roaming through the bush.


Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Accommodation: 3 nights at Okaukuejo Resort.

Traveling distance: 400 km (tarred and gravel roads).

Duration: around 5 hours with the stop-over.


Day 15 - Waterberg.


Today leaving Etosha and on the way to Waterberg Plateau where you will spend last night in Namibia.


Accommodation: 1 night in Waterberg area at Waterberg Resort.

Traveling distance: around 300km (tarred and gravel road)

Duration: around 4 hours.

Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.


Day 16 - Return to Windhoek.


After breakfast, return to Windhoek and end of the tour.

Traveling distance: 270 km (tarred roads).

Duration: around 4 hours with the stop-over.




Included in the tour’s price:
