Day 1

Welcome to African Land! Pick up at the Hosea Kutako International Airport in Namibia and comfortable, direct transfer to Eros Airport for your private, scenic flight from Windhoek to spectacular Sossusvlei – one of the most amazing and fascinating places on Earth, situated in the very heart of the ‚Sea of Sand’. Namib Desert is considered to be the oldest, known desert on Earth, with the highest, free-standing, sandy dunes in the World.

Your plane takes you over the surreal, diverse and changing regions: from bare desert-land, to African bush, grassy savannah and sandy dunes – while you experience sheer thrill of huge, sandy mountains and magnificent rock formations! Feast for passionate photographers on a unique photographic safari!

Arrival at the desert lodge; time for rest and relaxation before dinner, elegantly served at the lodge’s restaurant.

Day 2

Early morning desert drive to Sossusvlei, place of the highest dunes of the World, set in the midst of the World’s oldest desert. Unique chance for spectacular landscape photography.

Climbing picturesque Dune 45, enjoying incredible, scenic vistas and changing scenery of the Namib. Afterwards, 4×4 off-road drive and visit to Deadvlei where dried up acacias stand amidst orange dunes in the surreal landscape. Dead Vlei is considered to be one of the most photogenic and one of the most photographed places in the World. Later, visit to Elim Dune and an interesting rock formation of the Sesriem Canyon.

Optional in the morning: scenic hot-air balloon flight over the dunes (weather permitting).

Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the lodge.

Day 3

Adventure starts early in the morning with a scenic flight from Sossusvlei to coastal town-oasis of Swakompund. Swakopmund is a popular, Namibian resort town. Flight takes you over one of the most stunning places on Earth, the Namib-Naukluft Park. Aircraft flies over the coastal line were dunes directly reach Atlantic Ocean. Arrival in Swakopmund.

Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: 2 nights at Hansa Hotel, Zum Kaiser or Atlantic Villa

Day 4

After breakfast, marine adventure! Theme and scenery will change this morning – from desert to ocean on a fantastic dolphin cruise from the port of Walvis Bay to Pelican Point. Rich marine wildlife: dolphins, seals, whales (visiting the bay) and variety of marine birds. We are on the lookout for mystic and rare Mola Mola fish, inhabiting the coastal waters. After the cruise, 4 x 4 drive to famous Sandwich Harbor for scenic experience: impressive dunes reaching the ocean creating most spectacular landscape. In the afternoon, time for rest and relaxation at the hotel in Swakopmund.

Day 5

In the morning, scenic flight north over one of the most spectacular regions of Namibia, world-famous Skeleton Coast. Bird’s-eye view of the Namib Desert rolling into the Atlantic Ocean. The only place on Earth (Namibian coast) where desert directly meets the ocean.  Arrival at the country lodge in Opuwo, Kaokoland – place of the ancient, semi-nomadic Himba people. After the flight rest and relaxation at the elegant safari lodge. Enjoy spectacular sunset from the terrace of the lodge, overlooking rolling hills.

Accommodation: 2 nights at the Opuwo Country Hotel (the best hotel in the region).

Day 6

Ethnic Experience! In the morning, unforgettable meeting with Himba people during visit to the village – discover their ancient way of life. Unique opportunity to observe exotic culture and customs. Himba people are a semi-nomadic, pastoralist tribe inhabiting the remote Kaokoland region of Namibia, considered as living ‚far from civilization’.

The Himba have clung to their traditions and striking Himba women are noted for their intricate hairstyles and traditional jewelry. Himba men and women wear few clothes, apart from a loin cloth or goat-skin mini-skirt, they rub their bodies with red ochre and fat to protect themselves from the sun – this gives their appearance a rich, red color. Himba jewelry is made from iron or shell, and due to their intricate designs became very popular amongst tourists.

Visit at the village and close encounter with Himba creates superb opportunity for spectacular, ethnic photography! Some of the world’s best, ethnic pictures were taken at the Himba villages in Namibia. In the afternoon time for relaxation in the comfort of the country lodge.

Day 7

Today, off to Epacha Game Lodge & Spa, an amazing luxury lodge offering high standard service, located on the unique Epacha Wildlife Sanctuary near world-famous Etosha National Park. This 21,000 hectares large reserve is a home to more than 21 different species of antelopes and you can view Zebra, Giraffe, Kudu, Gemsbok, Steenbok, Sable, Tseesebee, Black Faced Impala, Hartebeest, Wildebeest and Eland! One of the biggest attractions of the Epacha is the Black Rhino. (thanks to the Black Rhino Custodian/conservation program)

Day 8

We will spend entire day on safari trails of the Etosha National Park – wildlife sanctuary and hidden gem of Namibia, searching for wildlife, while visiting main water-points, natural springs and waterholes situated around the park.

Etosha, meaning ‚a place of dry water’ is considered to be one of the most impressive and most frequently visited national parks of Africa; dedicated to protecting wildlife of African bush and savannah. Its beauty and close encounter with nature simply overwhelms visitors!

With the eye of camera we will search for wild animals such as: lion, cheetah, leopard, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, rhino, variety of antelopes, birds and reptiles inhabiting enormous regions of grassy savannah. Etosha emanates with harmony and balance of nature, vastly untouched by human hand fills the visitors with tranquil peace and serenity. Live ‚theatre of nature’ at its best!

Day 9

Flight to Erindi – largest Private Game Reserve in Africa, which offers the widest selection of exciting species, the finest cuisine and luxurious facilities. Erindi, translated as ‚place of water’ is a pioneer in conservation programs and eco-management models. Erindi is also a home to over 20,000 animals: from the smallest insect to the largest land mammals, elephants, and a multitude of rare and endangered species.

Activities in Erindi: afternoon game drive on the day of arrival.

Day 10

Half-day game drive and tracking the animals in the bush assisted by Erindi’s guide. Afternoon, time to rest and relax in the ambiance of the luxurious lodge.

Meals: all meals served at Erindi’s restaurant.

Day 11

We bid ‚bye, bye’ to beautiful Erindi and fly south, to Windhoek, capital of Namibia. Arrival at the capital, lunch, and in the afternoon time for relaxation and rest at the luxurious, centrally-located Hilton Hotel in Windhoek.

Accommodation: 1 night in Windhoek at the Hilton Hotel.

Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
