8AM pick-up from hotel in Windhoek, traveling directly south-east to the Namib Desert and world-famous Sossusvlei via scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. 

Stop at the view point to admire endless panorama of the Namib and heading to Solitaire oasis for lunch and leg-stretching. Arrival at the lodge in the afternoon.

Early morning before sunrise, driving around 70km through the desert to reach Sesriem Gate opening at sunrise, scenic drive to Sossusvlei, while capturing sun-illuminated, orange dunes with the eye of camera. Welcome to world's highest shifting dunes, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list 21st June 2013 as 'The Namib Sand Sea’ -  the only coastal desert in the world that includes extensive dune fields influenced by fog. Option of climbing picturesque Dune 45 to experience beauty and vastness of fascinating orange-color landscape. After the climb, 5km off-road, deep sand drive to visit surreal Deadvlei, a place of vast clay pan and dried-up, ancient acacias standing silent in an impressive landscape.  

 In the afternoon, visit to the fascinating rock formation of the Sesriem Canyon and optionally climbing Elim Dune overlooking scenic desert horizon.

After breakfast, journey south to small, coastal town of Luderitz, situated on the Atlantic Coast. En route admiring spectacular landscape and breathtaking vistas of the Namib Desert. Before reaching Luderitz short visit to feral desert horses, inhabiting primarily the arid plains around Garub near Aus.   

Upon arrival short visit to the historical monument, a granite cross, known as the Diaz Cross, set in the coastal sands by Portuguese sailor Bartholomew Diaz, when he first landed at the Namibian coast on 25th July 1488; the cross presently found is a replica of the original stone cross and was erected in 1988.

In the afternoon time to relax or optional walk around picturesque town featuring historical buildings.

In the morning, 10 km east off Luderitz visit to the historic ‚Ghost Town’ of Kolmanskop, deserted in the sands after the famous ‚diamond rush’. In April 1908, railway wroker Zacharias Lewala found a shiny stone while shoveling sand off the railway tracks and showed it to his German supervisor, August Stauch. The find sparked a massive fortune-seeker rush in German South West Africa, leading to the creation of opulent desert towns like Kolmanskop.  To control the immense wealth, German authorities declared a 26,000-square-kilometer region the Sperrgebiet (Forbidden Territory), restricting public access. By the 1920s and 1930s, richer diamond deposits were found further south near the Orange River, leading people to abandon Kolmanskop, which was completely empty by 1956. Enjoy one hour guided tour of Kolmanskop, and afterwards you are welcome to explore on your own, in search of perfect photograph of the town buried in the sands of the Namib.

En route to experience second largest canyon in the world - the Fish River Canyon.

Located in the remote south, canyon is the largest in Africa and second most visited tourist attraction in Namibia. It features a gigantic ravine, total about 160 km long, up to 27 km wide and in places nearly 550 meters deep, covering the area of 5,900 km²

Traveling north-east towards small town of Keetmanshoop; visit and nature hike at Garas Quivertree Forest, featuring dense quiver tree forest (Aloe dichotoma) set among spectacular granite boulders. 

Arrival at the lodge for relaxing afternoon and sunset over the Kalahari Desert.
