Detailed Itinerary
Guide will pick you up at 8AM from your accommodation in Windhoek and transfer to domestic Eros Airport for direct flight to Sossusvlei area. Scenic flight will take you over Central Plateau bushland and arid Namib Desert.
Landing at Sossusvlei area around noon (weather permitting) transfer to the lodge for check-in, lunch and rest.
Meals: lunch and dinner.
Accommodation 2 nights at Dead Valley Lodge or similar.
Distance: 350km
Flight duration: about 1hour/15min.
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Early morning, at sunrise, en route via the Sesriem Gate to spectacular Sossusvlei. Option of climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. 5km off-road, deep sand drive to surreal Deadvlei, a place of white clay desert pan featuring dried-up, ancient acacias standing silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. Optional climbing one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy’ or ‚Big Mama’. 360 degrees panorama of the ‚Sand Sea’ features one of the most scenic landscapes in the world! Sossusvlei and Deadvlei are considered to be one of the most photogenic and some of the most photographed places on Earth!
In the afternoon visit to picturesque Sesriem Canyon, while en route, chance of spotting occasional wildlife: ostriches, oryx (gemsbok), bat-eared foxes, springboks, possibly cheetah and various birds inhabiting the desert. In the afternoon, time for rest and relaxation in the quiet atmosphere of the Namib. Open-sky sunset and star-gazing will complete the day.

Relaxing morning and leisurely breakfast; afterwards transfer to airstrip for your return flight to Windhoek around 10AM (weather permitting). Arrival in Windhoek around 2PM, transfer back to your hotel or for departure international flight. End of the tour.
