Pick up at 9AM from any hotel/lodge in Windhoek and direct transfer south-east to Namib-Naukluft National Park with world-famous Sossusvlei via scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. Stop at the view point to admire endless panorama of the Namib. En route, lunch at Solitaire oasis. Arrival at the lodge in the afternoon, time to relax and watch sunset over the desert.

Early morning, before sunrise, en route via the Sesriem Gate to spectacular Sossusvlei. Option of climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road deep sand drive to the surreal Deadvlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. Climbing ‚Big Daddy’ or ‚Big Mama’ dunes. 360 degrees, panoramic views of the ‚Sand Sea’ are breathtaking! Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei are considered to be one of the most photogenic and some of the most photographed places on Earth! After lunch visit and hike at the Sesriem Canyon and Elim Dune.

En route, chance to spot occasional wildlife: ostriches, oryx (gemsbok), bat-eared foxes, springboks, giraffes, possibly cheetah and various birds inhabiting the desert. In the afternoon, time for rest and relaxation in the quiet atmosphere of the Namib.

• Hot-Air Balloon flight (early morning)
